For more than 25 years, International Truck and Engine Corporation has proudly supplied its popular V-8 diesel engines to Ford Motor Company for use in Ford heavy-duty pickup trucks, vans and SUVs — a powerful combination, resulting in industry-leading diesel vehicles known for mountain-moving power, superior fuel economy and legendary durability.

The International-made V-8, branded as the Power Stroke® Diesel in 1994, paved the way for the acceptance of diesel engines in heavy-duty pickups used for recreation as well as work. There are more than three million Power Stroke® Diesel owners today who can attest to the engine’s Power, Performance, and Fun Driving experience.

Thanks to the Power Stroke® Diesel, drivers can choose — and do more than 75 percent of the time — a clean, powerful upgrade over gasoline-powered engines.
